Fixing the medical machine

So how do we fix this problem of the corporatization of medicine? By focusing solely on the health of our patients, no more “quality” metrics, no more billing disputes, no more asking insurance companies permission, no more one size fits all medicine.  This is why we set out to start this practice, to get back to risk-reward conversations and give other physicians options… you will likely not make as much money but you will have genuine patient relationships and time to enjoy your family.  At the end of the day most of us went into medicine to help and not for the money, its time we take a step back and do what is right for our families and community.
